Affiliate Marketing Tips - How to Create Trust With Your Visitors
Dec 9th, 2011 Tony Robbinson
If you are an affiliate marketer, you would know best how important your visitors are. For an affiliate marketer, visitors mean possible business and potential customers and advertisers. So, it is very important to win the trust of your visitors and form a virtual relationship with them.
They should feel a sense of security and confidentially while transacting with you or your website. You can never expect your visitor to make a purchase or submit their information on the very first visit. You have to be very lucky to have found such a visitor. So forming a trusting relationship with your audience is essential. Let us get an insight into how you can make your audience feel comfortable, and form a bond with them to give you recurring business and form a brand name-
1. Do not expect your visitors to buy something on their very first visit. Do not sound like a salesperson trying to force products or services on them in order to close a deal. You website should not sound like a typical sales letter. Instead try to be cordial to your visitor and offer something useful to them free of charge like an informative e-book, audio, report etc. Anything which is affordable to you that you can offer free of charge to them will be useful. This will create an impression that you are not greedy.
2. Always focus on how your visitors are going to benefit by buying your product or service, and not on how you are going to benefit from them. Do not disclose the price of your products initially. Let them know the benefits first and then disclose the price. Try to compare your price with that of your competitors, and show them that they are saving a lot of money. Offer your customers discounts on returning purchases to build up brand loyalty.
3. Always ask them to join up for your e-mail newsletters. Newsletters are an important way to stay in touch with your audience. In order to build up a large list offer something interesting to your audience so that they cannot resist subscribing to your e-mails. Once you have a large list (which you would achieve gradually over time) send informative newsletters and offer something free of charge from time to time such as free reports or e-books, and you will build a relationship with them. This will ensure future sale of your products and services as well as recurring sales.
In any form of business, be it online or offline, building rapport and trust with your customers is a very important practice in a successful business enterprise. This will build brand image and would provide free advertising also if your customers are satisfied.About the Author:
